Where did the Bianbu Star documentation section go? I somehow managed to install this OS on an nmve drive, and then… the documentation was deleted. Why?
Since Bianbu 2.3, Bianbu Star is now maintained as part of the Bianbu LXQt product line. To avoid confusion for developers, we have removed all Bianbu Star documentation. If you still need to use firmware prior to Bianbu 2.3, we can send you the documentation, but we recommend using the latest Bianbu LXQt image.
I think I should explain my choice. By this point, I’d already tried the Bianbu 3.0.1 image for microSD. I must admit, I have a negative attitude towards the LXQT desktop. I actually miss KDE 2*. I used to work on that desktop for a long time. I didn’t like the old Gnome. Then came Xfce, which was more or less tolerable. I didn’t like KDE 3 and 4. They hog hardware resources. I also encountered LXQT at work, which left me with a very negative impression. I quickly migrated to LXDE, and they forbade me from installing other desktops. LXDE turned out to be more or less OK at the time. I used it for a couple of years. Eventually, I switched to Mate, which I’ve been using ever since, for about 15 years now. Well, maybe 12, I can’t remember exactly. The new Gnome is also not bad, it’s usable. Cinnamon and the rest are disgusting. So, my answer is yes. I will continue using Bianbu Star. Therefore, if it is not too much trouble, please send the documentation for it.
