Hi all,
The SpaceMIT K1 has PCI support which will support 2230 M2 modules such as Qualcomm QCNCM865 (WIFI7), Qualcomm QCNFA765 (WIFI6E), Realtek RTL8852CE (WIFI6E), Mediatek MT7922A, Mediatek MT7915, Intel AX210 and Intel AX211.
The WIFI modules depend a bit on the Linux kernel version, patches, and firmware versions. There are recommendations to use Linux kernel 6.12 or newer.
There may also be a need for very recent patches that are not even in mainline Linux yet.
Therefore it’s relevant to ask you here: Have you been particularly happy on Bianbu OS on SpaceMIT K1/Ky X1 with any particular WIFI module for your Access Point?
Thanks
Note: I am aware that SDIO based WIFI adapters exist.
I did not look into it very carefully but maybe one or two of the SpaceMIT K1/Ky X1 SBC:s have a 2230 M.2 slot which connects to SDIO and not PCIe.
For clarity, I am not really interested in using such an adapter for the WIFI Access Point function, also because SDIO not is very fast. I think normally SDIO is limited to 100mbps.
