Hi!
I understand for RISCV/ARM SoC:s the Linux kernel version is always delicate because the kernel needs many patches and testing, and the patches may be applied manually by SpaceMIT because getting them included in mainline Linux will take years.
Looking at the latest Bianbu OS image in the official download URL Index of /image/k1/version/bianbu , currently the latest version is 2.2rc2, and if I see correctly the kernel version is 6.6.63. Can someone double-confirm this?
And, which is the newest kernel version you can install via the “apt” package repository, that has been correctly patched and tested by SpaceMIT and the community?
I ask because the particular Realtek PCI WIFI module I want to use, it says online that ideally I should use kernel 6.12 as the WIFI drivers were significantly improved in this version.
Please let me know, thanks
