I just spent ages trying to open a LUKS container. Had created a LUKS encrypted drive on another drive and thought it was a password error. Then created a local one using disks GUI and format it but kept getting errors. I think it might be missing the neccessary kernel modules. Gave up, installed xfs-progs, formatted it xfs and encrypted just a directory/edited fstab to mount the unencrypted partition and did it manually. Think it is lacking the kernel modules for LUKS though. Not really worth having any LUKS ones if you can’t open partitions.
May I ask which platform you’re working on — K1 or K3? And which version of Bianbu are you using? We haven’t done any kernel module adaptation specifically for LUKS use cases. You could try compiling the kernel yourself — there’s a chance LUKS might work.
